Sta. Ana Wharf
The old port along the Davao Gulf, where the morning starts with the smell of brine and diesel and the clatter of joiner boats loading up for their runs out to Samal and Talicud. Outriggers nose against the dock, crews call across the water, and the gulf opens flat and bright past the breakwater. We rolled in early from the Seawind unit in Sasa, found the group amid the bustle, and pushed off from here into the day on the water.
