A residential tower in Sasa, on the north side of Davao City, where the Airbnb unit made the night-one base before the Samal crossing. Sasa sits out by the airport side of the city, the kind of quiet edge-of-town spot where you unpack, sort the gear, and turn in early. The real reason for basing here was logistics: a short drive from Sta. Ana Wharf, close enough to roll out at first light and still make the island-hopping boat’s morning departure.
