Sunday at Art in Island in Cubao, the sprawling trick-art museum where the paintings reach off the walls and onto the floor, built from the ground up to be climbed into rather than just looked at. Shoes come off at the door, and from there it’s room after room of falling off cliffs, riding dragons, and dangling over painted chasms — each one a little puzzle of where to stand and how to pose so the flat wall snaps into 3D through the camera. Half the fun is watching everyone else contort for the perfect angle. An easy, goofy way to lose an afternoon.
